The “self” then, is born from Man’s conscious interaction with contextual objects and events. Therefore, the “self” is really our Context in disguise. That is why the self becomes our “identity” (who we think others think we are, including, of course, who our selves think our selves are) as well as that “wise master” within us that often has the answer to many of our questions. That “wise master”, in reality, is our Context who’s voice we so carefully listen to when we seek behavioral guidance.
